This is episode 1, where we begin in Thessaloniki, a food lovers haven, and home to Roman and Byzantine artefacts and buildings, as well as beautiful monasteries. It’s a great place to Cruise to. We were aboard the Celebrity Infinity, a Millenium Class cruise ship, and we use this to cruise around the region.
Over the course of the series we will show you the delights of Athens, home to one of the Wonders of the World, the Parthenon at the Acropolis, the beautiful Ephesus with its stunning Roman remains, and it’s home port Kusadasi in Turkey, before moving on to Rhodes, Limassol in Cyprus, Heraklion and the Knossos in Crete. It’s an enchanting trip around some of the Ancient wonders of the world. Visiting UNESCO world heritage sites, and ancient monuments.
