Sheriff’s deputies in Lane County mentioned suggestions from the general public helped them find a household who did not return from a day journey to the mountains on Sunday.

The five-person group, which included two youngsters and a six-year-old baby, left Springfield Sunday morning with plans to return by 8 p.m., the sheriff’s workplace mentioned.
